Phillip Van Hooser lived and worked here in Ocala for more than 15 years, building friendships through the local business community and serving as an active member of First Baptist Church.
For more than 35 years, Phil has helped leaders and organizations around the world grow through his practical wisdom, relatable stories, and genuine care for people. He is a six-time author and a member of the Speaker Hall of Fame, but those who know Phil understand that his faith, his family, and the relationships he has built mean far more to him than any professional recognition.

I was born and raised in Ocala, Florida, then I attended the University of Central Florida (UCF). I spent a small amount of time in the private sector working in the field of Film and Television productions across America but most of my time spent was in the back country of Alaska. I have spent the last 24 years working in Law Enforcement where have been honored to serve my community. I married my high school sweetheart and have been blessed with three amazing successful kids.
My mission is to focus on my family, my faith, and the responsibilities God has entrusted to me. I have been truly blessed to discover my calling and to live the life He designed for me. Each day, I strive to serve others with integrity, purpose, and compassion while remaining faithful to the values that guide my life. My goal is to honor God in all that I do and to make a positive difference in the lives of those around me.
